H.O.P.S.E. (Online wiki resource) / Software
Hill Michael Online Planning Software Encyclopaedia – “HOPSE” – provides an online repository and collaboration resource to facilitate exchange of valuable information for users of electricity supply network planning software.
This ‘Wiki’ style encyclopaedia, provides information about the SiemensPTI product suite (specifically PSS/Sincal and PSS/E) and DINIS(E) as a supplement to the existing documentation for those packages, and also presents an opportunity for software users to share information, discuss or ask questions about the packages, and to receive support from both peers and Hill Michael.
The content at HOPSE is created by the users of these software packages – anyone can add to the website (in the normal ‘Wiki’ manner) – and so wisdom or insight gained by one user can be shared with others around Australia and New Zealand, or around the world. Hill Michael acts a host and a moderator, as well as contributor to HOPSE. Hill Michael believes there is great value in the collaboration of software intelligence by those who plan and develop electricity supply networks, and we are committed to investing in the provision of infrastructure and support to achieve this.
